Just a reminder that in 1963, Jackie Gleason was every bit as popular as Sinatra or Nat King Cole. Truth.

Super Homemakers’ Guide
Super Publications Ltd, Toronto, Canada
1954, 6” ØThis single-sided volvelle has helpful hints for all kinds of home problems from dirty diamonds (I hate it when that happens!) to scorched laundry (from ironing, I presume?) Who couldn’t use some handy household tips? Apparently it is one of a series of valuable information guides from Super Publications — I wish I had the others! (The publisher and date are oddly hidden underneath, almost at the center.)
The two things I like best about this volvelle are the wonderful arrow zooming across the inner disc to reveal a super tip and the fact that it’s a sample, as “your advertising imprint to go in this space” reveals. Pretty cool.
