So I’ve decided that after utilizing a number of different visual identities for my various online endeavors - all of which had involved re-purposing old advertising art - it was time to create something unique.
This is very much a work in progress, but it’s a start. I think it will stand out as a small icon and as a larger image as well. This is the full version, with the site name, but I plan on using other versions with and without the wordmark around the circle.
I whipped this up in Illustrator, which was my first time using it (I’ve always been a photoshop guy). Despite being just a circle with some text, it was surprisingly difficult to create. And I’m sure I screwed up the spacing and whatnot.
Anyway, for those who see this and care, what do you think?
